Choosing 3mp camera mode will allow your crime camera to produce a wider-angle and higher definition picture (1,000,000 more pixels than 1080p), which provides much greater detail when zooming into the picture. When choosing to upgrade to 3mp, ProjectNOLA adds an additional $5/ month to help cover the cost associated with receiving and recording a higher definition camera to its cloud.

Help reduce violent crime in New Orleans by sponsoring a 3mp Day/Night Pan/Tilt/digital Zoom ProjectNOLA HD Crime Camera in the area (or property) of your choice. Your generous donation will be used to provide a crime camera on a New Orleans residence or business and to cover the cost of ProjectNOLA receiving and recording the video feed for one year. Camera sponsor may choose which neighborhood or actual property that the sponsored camera is to be placed. It is the responsibility of the camera host to ensure the crime camera's connectivity to the ProjectNOLA recording cloud via the Internet. While participating with the ProjectNOLA crime camera system, the camera host may view the video feed from the crime camera that they are hosting, via a compatible smart phone, tablet, pad, smart TV or PC. Camera host must return the crime camera back to ProjectNOLA should host no longer be able or wish to continue participating with the ProjectNOLA nonprofit crime camera system by assuming the annual operating cost ( $180/each additional year for 1080p or $240/each additional year) associated with Project NOLA being able to continue receiving and recording the crime camera after the first year. As Project NOLA is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and this sponsored crime camera pointed at a public street or park greatly benefits the community, your charitable donation to sponsor this crime camera may be tax deductible.

Please note that at the camera sponsor's request, more than one crime camera may be placed on a particular home or business, provided that each sponsored crime camera is has a good view of a public street or park.
