Sign up here to help make Woodbury an even safer place to live, work and visit by hosting a 4mp Day/Night Crime Camera on your home, business, church or school! There is no equipment to purchase, as a loaner 4mp Day/Night Wide-Angle HD Crime Camera will be provided by Project NOLA, which operates the National Real-Time Crime Center based at the University of New Orleans.

Please help prevent crime by hosting one or more crime cameras that may allow officers to see a public thoroughfare, common area or park. Businesses are also welcome to place a camera(s) in areas that may help address shrinkage and loss.

This particular crime camera may be connected to your Internet via Ethernet cable or WiFi, and provides a clear wide angle picture regardless of lighting conditions. Once received via mail, you may either install the camera (s) yourself with one of our own technicians or have a local security professional install the camera for you. Once installation is complete, you may view live and recorded video using smart phone or tablet. Video may also be instantly accessed by the Woodbury Police Department to help proactively prevent crime and provide valuable information to officers responding to breaking emergencies.

By accepting a loaner crime camera, please note that you will be required to return it back to the Woodbury Police Department should you no longer be able to maintain an Internet connection to the camera, sell the property that the camera is attached to, or otherwise be unable to continue your participation with the crime camera program within 3 years.
