The most successful and cost efficient crime camera program in America, Project NOLA is now providing loaner crime cameras to be hosted on Baton Rouge area homes, churches, schools, businesses, and complexes in effort to significantly reduce violent crime. From the Project NOLA Real-Time Crime Information Center at the University of New Orleans, live camera video may be monitored to assist units responding to breaking crimes and recorded video expertly analyzed to assist detectives investigating felony crimes. Communities may opt to have cameras proactively live monitored for suspicious behavior, crimes in progress and dangerous situations. Communities may also commission UNO to use Project NOLA crime camera data to study crime, transportation, and other urban issues.
